Puri is also known as Sri Khetra. Situated 60 kilometers from the capital city of Bhubaneswar, Sri Khetra has been mentioned multiple times in sacred texts of the Rig Veda, Skanda Veda including others. It is one of the four centers of Sanatan Dharma pilgrimage. With the Jagannath temple is the heart of the city. Which is also known as the Badadeula, literal translation is The Colossal temple.
